Mobility 1

The director of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust, Rodrigo Esponda, said in an interview for Los Cabos a la Carta and Cabovisión Noticias that there are large numbers, since the month of March closes with a historic volume of arrivals in Los Cabos: "it will be the best March in the history of the destination, both domestic arrivals and international arrivals have been very positive," he said.

Esponda assured that the Canadian market has contributed a lot, due to the reactivation of its flights to our destination, as well as tourists from other parts of Latin America that have gradually increased, surpassing the numbers of arrivals of previous years.

Regarding direct flights to Madrid, Spain through the Iberojet airline, he explained that sales have been on the rise: "about 50 seats are sold per day, this is a higher number than other destinations that have been in the portfolio for more years for sale" said Rodrigo Esponda assuring that it will be a complete success.

Despite the fact that tourist demand continues to increase to visit Los Cabos, the problem of mobility is one of the red lights: "it is already being reflected, in the analysis we make of the satisfaction of tourists when they leave the destination, the The transportation element is already being affected since 2021 and the first two months that we have processed since this year and there has been a decrease in the quality of the transportation experience in general; there are two specific elements that are marked there: one, the quality relationship - price and the second, the time it takes to travel from one place to another and this is negatively affecting the general experience of the tourist" said the director of FITURCA, at the same time that he said the statistics for the month of March will be reviewed where you might notice this aspect. For this reason, he has commented on the possibility of presenting proposals to solve this problem, which could well affect the source of income of the majority of the inhabitants of this destination. —
